Speech and Language Therapy Service

Speech and Language Therapy Service for adults with learning disabilities

We work with people with a learning disability who have finished school.  We can help with:

  • Listening
  • Understanding what people say
  • Talking
  • Signing
  • Using pictures or objects
  • Using speech boxes or communication aids
  • Saying what you want, talking to others and making friends

We also help people who can find it hard to eat and drink.  We can help you and the people supporting you to make eating and drinking easier and safer.

We can see people at home, in the centre, at college, work or at Bridge House.

If you would like help you can speak to us at Bridge House on (01254) 695698.

Or you can ask someone to phone or write to us at:
